Neeraj Kumar Babloo, the current MLA from Chattapur, may not be nominated by the BJP in the upcoming Bihar assembly election because of strong anti-incumbency sentiment and voter fatigue over broken promises on development issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to take the oath of office for his third consecutive term on Sunday, June 9, at approximately 7:15 pm. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously chose Mr Modi as their leader in a meeting held on Friday, paving the way for the formation of the government at the Centre.

In a recent development, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale extended an open invitation to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to reconsider rejoining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). However, the gesture has been met with resistance from within the BJP ranks, with party MP Sushil Modi asserting that the BJP is not inclined towards welcoming Nitish Kumar back into the fold.
