A scheduled IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Doha, Qatar, turned into a chaotic ordeal for passengers early today, with many left stranded at the airport for nearly five hours. The flight, which was supposed to take off at 3:55 AM, faced significant delays due to a reported technical issue with the aircraft.

IndiGo issued a statement confirming the bomb threat: "IndiGo flight 6E 5314 operating from Chennai to Mumbai had received a bomb threat. Upon landing in Mumbai, the crew followed protocol, and the aircraft was taken to an isolation bay as per security agency guidelines."

In a startling turn of events, the Mumbai Customs department seized a significant haul of diamonds and gold worth crores at the city's airport over the weekend. According to officials, the total value of the seized items amounted to a whopping ₹6.46 crore.

In a heart-wrenching incident at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, an 80-year-old passenger tragically collapsed and passed away while walking from the aircraft to the terminal, opting not to wait for a wheelchair despite requesting assistance. The passenger, who had flown from New York on an Air India flight, faced a heavy demand for wheelchairs at the airport, leading to a delayed response to his request for assistance.
