In a significant development, three notorious gangsters, including one involved in a murder at a Burger King outlet in Delhi, were shot dead today in an encounter with a joint team of the Delhi Police Crime Branch and the Haryana Special Task Force in Sonipat.
The deceased gangsters have been identified as Ashish Kalu, Vicky Ridhana, and Sunny Gujjar, known for their involvement in extorting large sums from businessmen across Haryana, according to police sources. The encounter site yielded five pistols, underscoring the firepower possessed by the gang.
Authorities had issued substantial rewards for information leading to the hideout of these individuals, highlighting the level of threat they posed to public safety.
The Burger King outlet incident, which drew widespread attention, involved the murder of 26-year-old Aman Joon, allegedly orchestrated by gang members including Anu, also known as “Lady Don.” Anu, a close associate of gangster Himanshu Bhau, reportedly lured Aman Joon to the restaurant in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden where he was fatally shot.
Security camera footage revealed Anu’s presence with Aman Joon during the attack, where multiple gunmen fired 38 bullets, tragically ending Aman’s life as he attempted to flee.
Himanshu Bhau, believed to be currently in Portugal, claimed responsibility for the murder through social media, labeling it a “revenge killing.” Bhau, associated with jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana, is notorious for his involvement in extortion and criminal activities spanning Delhi and Haryana.
