Punjab Police, in a joint operation with a central agency, arrested Rohan Masih, the main accused in the Chandigarh Sector 10 grenade blast case that occurred on September 11. Masih, hailing from Passia village in Amritsar, was found in possession of a 9mm Glock pistol and ammunition. The arrest was confirmed by Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav, who announced the breakthrough on social media platform X.

In a significant development in the high-profile murder case of Harprit Singh, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed Kuldeep Singh, the victim’s uncle, to report to the Sector-36 police station by Wednesday or face the cancellation of his bail in a separate corruption case. The court's directive follows a protection plea filed by Baljeet Kaur, Harprit Singh's mother, who alleges a serious threat to her life and her family's safety from Kuldeep Singh.
