The ban is imposed for five years, citing concerns over their secessionist, subversive, and violent activities, including attacks on security forces and civilians in Manipur. The MHA emphasizes the need for immediate control to prevent escalation and anti-national activities, highlighting the organizations' detrimental impact on India's sovereignty and integrity.
