Bengaluru: In a move to enforce building regulations and ensure safety, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to demolish an illegally constructed five-storey building on a 250 sq ft plot in Nanjappa Garden, Babusapalya, Hennur. The building, often referred to as “Burj Khalifa Pro Max” by social media users due to its unusual height on such a small plot, will be torn down overnight as part of a larger citywide initiative to address unauthorized structures.

In a significant relief to residents of Lucknow's Pant Nagar, Khurramnagar, and Abrar Nagar, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured that no houses constructed along the Kukrail river will be demolished. This announcement came during a meeting with officials on Monday, quelling fears of an Akbar Nagar-like demolition due to a recent survey.
