In a courageous display of bravery, Indian Army soldier Sub Kuldeep Chand was killed in action while leading a counter-infiltration operation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district. The tragic incident occurred on the night of April 11, 2025, in the Keri-Battal area of Sunderbani, as the army intercepted terrorists attempting to infiltrate Indian territory.

In a successful counter-infiltration operation in Jammu and Kashmir, five Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists were eliminated. The encounter, which took place in the Machil sector of Kupwara district, marks the increased involvement of the police in such operations and highlights the persistent threat of foreign terrorists in the region.
