Blinken emphasized the excellent relations between U.S. President Joe Biden and Modi, underscoring the comprehensive nature of the U.S.-India partnership.

The Secretary of State highlighted the remarkable achievements witnessed in India under Prime Minister Modi’s tenure, stating that the policies have proven highly advantageous for the Indian people. He described the evolving relationship between the two countries as being at a “new place at a new level,” a deliberate effort by both leaders to deepen ties.

During the address, Blinken acknowledged the ongoing conversations between the U.S. and India on a wide range of topics, including democracy and human rights. “We see a very powerful affirmation of democracy. Our fundamental interest is that peace and stability are maintained in the Taiwan Strait, and any differences between Beijing and Taiwan are resolved peacefully,” Blinken asserted. He underscored the success of U.S.-China relations in managing the Taiwan issue and maintaining the status quo.
