PM Modi Announces Nationwide 'Mera Yuva Bharat' Platform Launch on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's Birth Anniversary

In a significant announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed the upcoming launch of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat,’ a nationwide platform dedicated to fostering youth-led development and empowerment. Scheduled for release on October 31, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, this autonomous body seeks to engage and mobilize the energetic and dynamic youth of India.

Prime Minister Modi made this noteworthy revelation during the 106th episode of his monthly flagship radio program, Mann Ki Baat, in which he emphasized the pivotal role that young Indians can play in nation-building. Encouraging the nation’s youth to register on MYBharat.Gov.in, the Prime Minister highlighted that the platform will be officially launched under the banner of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ (MYBharat).

The ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ initiative aims to provide a unique opportunity for India’s youth to actively participate in various nation-building activities and events. It envisions harnessing the immense potential and enthusiasm of the country’s youth to contribute to the development and progress of the nation. Additionally, the PM announced the imminent launch of ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’s’ website, ‘My Bharat,’ further enhancing the accessibility and reach of this initiative.

This announcement follows a recent declaration by the Union cabinet, which outlined plans to establish a platform dedicated to nurturing leadership skills among the youth, transforming them into social innovators and community leaders. The platform, designed to cater to young individuals between the ages of 15 to 29, is committed to fostering youth-led development and empowerment.

Prime Minister Modi also paid heartfelt tribute to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her death anniversary, which falls on October 31.

As the nation prepares to celebrate the Diwali festival, Prime Minister Modi reiterated his call for ‘vocal for local,’ emphasizing the importance of supporting local products and industries during festivals. He urged the citizens to prioritize products made in India and contribute to the vision of an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India). India’s growing prominence as a global manufacturing hub was also highlighted, underscoring the nation’s journey towards self-reliance and economic resilience.

During his address, Prime Minister Modi also celebrated the work of writer Sivasankari, who was recently honored with the Saraswati Samman by the KK Birla Foundation for her memoir written in Tamil, titled ‘Surya Vamsam.’ Additionally, the PM brought attention to Sivasankari’s project, ‘Knit India, through literature,’ a literary initiative involving the comprehensive collection, research, and translation of literature from 18 different Indian languages, further enriching the nation’s literary landscape.
