Bengaluru marks a significant milestone in its transportation sector as the first-ever driverless metro train, comprising six coaches from China, arrived in the city on Wednesday. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced the arrival of the state-of-the-art train, heralding a new era in metro rail services for the bustling metropolis.
The arrival of the driverless train, which arrived at the Hebbagodi depot in Electronic City, South Bengaluru, signifies a major step forward in Bengaluru’s metro network.
