Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav has been served with a notice by the Noida Police in connection with the ongoing snake venom case. The case revolves around allegations that Yadav and five others provided snake venom for recreational purposes at a party in Delhi-NCR, based on a complaint filed by an animal welfare activist. Yadav, who gained fame after winning the reality show ‘Big Boss OTT 2’ hosted by Salman Khan, is expected to face interrogation in the near future.
Yadav is one of six individuals booked in this case. The other five, identified as Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath, have already been arrested by the police. The complaint was filed by People For Animals, an organization associated with BJP MP Maneka Gandhi. According to their complaint, they conducted a ‘sting operation’ in which they contacted Yadav and requested him to organize a rave party and provide Cobra venom.
“Elvish gave us the name of one Rahul whom we contacted. He said he could organize the venom wherever we wanted. He then came to Sector 51 Banquet Hall with the Venom. The Noida police then came to the venue along with the DFO and arrested the organizers,” the complaint stated.
Elvish Yadav has vehemently denied these allegations, deeming them “baseless and fake.” While he has expressed his willingness to cooperate with the police investigation, he has also threatened to file a defamation case against BJP MP Maneka Gandhi. Yadav declared, “I was accused by Maneka Gandhi ji, and she called me the head of the snake supplier. I will file a defamation case against her. I will not spare her.”
In a blog post, Yadav elaborated on the matter, assuring his audience that he will share a comprehensive video to provide his perspective once the police investigation begins. He stated, “Those who are watching, please don’t judge me based on this. Please wait. When the police investigation starts, I will share the main video as well. I will show you everything. I am saying this with a lot of confidence. A press statement will also be released that Elvish Yadav had zero involvement in this case. Please watch that and share that also.”
The snake venom case has garnered significant attention, and Yadav’s response indicates his determination to clear his name and address the allegations against him. As the investigation unfolds, it remains to be seen how this case will develop and what the authorities’ findings will reveal.
