Singh stated that she has been dealing with “paid PR” deliberately spreading these rumors for the past five weeks. Despite initially ignoring the false reports, she took action by reporting the issue to Meta (formerly Facebook) multiple times and filing a complaint with the Mumbai Cyber Police. However, the dissemination of fake news persisted, leading to panic among some individuals who even contacted her family.
In her post, Singh shared screenshots of the fake news articles and posts claiming her death, highlighting the extent of misinformation circulating online. Since posting her response, the message has garnered significant attention, with over one lakh views and nearly 500 likes.
