Tragic Bus Accident Claims Lives of Three BSF Jawans in Kashmir’s Budgam

A tragic bus accident on Friday resulted in the deaths of three Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and left 32 others injured in the Budgam district. The incident occurred while the bus, which was engaged in election duty, was transporting a total of 35 BSF members when it skidded off a hilly road and plunged into a gorge in the Brell Waterhail area.

Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, and six of the injured personnel are reported to be in critical condition. They have been transferred to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention. In addition to the BSF personnel, a civilian driver was also injured in the accident.

Local officials have expressed their condolences and emphasized the need for thorough investigations into the cause of the accident. The BSF, responsible for maintaining border security, has been actively engaged in various duties, including ensuring safety during the election period.
