Delhi’s Air Quality Stays “Very Poor” as Shallow Fog Continues for Second Consecutive Day

Delhi's air quality remained at hazardous levels on Wednesday, as the city continued to face a "very poor" air quality index (AQI) for the fourth consecutive day. Calm winds and a layer of shallow fog contributed to the ongoing air pollution, with visibility dipping to around 800 meters early in the morning. The shallow fog, which was recorded for a second day, has exacerbated the situation, making it difficult for pollutants to disperse.

regnant Woman Allegedly Forced to Clean Hospital Bed Where Her Husband Died in Madhya Pradesh

In a deeply distressing incident, a five-month-pregnant woman was reportedly made to clean the blood from the hospital bed where her husband died after being shot in Madhya Pradesh’s Dindori district. The incident, which has sparked outrage and raised questions about hospital protocols, came to light following the emergence of a video depicting the woman, identified as Roshni, cleaning the blood-stained bed.

The tragic events unfolded in Lalpur village, where a long-standing land dispute led to a violent confrontation. Four men, including Roshni’s husband, Shivraj, were shot during the altercation. While Shivraj and his father succumbed to their injuries, Roshni and another son were taken to the Gadasarai Health Centre for medical attention.

According to reports, Roshni asked hospital staff if she could wipe the blood from the bed to collect evidence regarding the extent of her husband’s injuries. The hospital authorities stated that she was not forced to clean the bed but had requested permission to use a cloth for this purpose. “I have not received any complaint from the woman or her family,” said a doctor from the facility.

The shocking video of Roshni cleaning the blood with a cloth in one hand and tissues in the other has circulated widely on social media, leading to public outcry over the insensitivity displayed in such a tragic situation. Many have condemned the hospital for its handling of the matter.

In response to the shooting incident, the Gadasarai police have registered a case against seven individuals, including charges of murder. Some suspects have already been taken into custody as investigations continue into the land dispute that led to this violence.
