The National Training Conclave, organized by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and sponsored by the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) – ‘Mission Karmayogi’, seeks to address the Prime Minister’s vision of enhancing capacity building in the civil services and improving governance processes and policy implementation.
The conclave witnessed the participation of over 1,900 representatives from various training and research institutes across different regions and zones. The primary objective of the conclave is to bring together all Civil Service Training Institutions (CSTIs) in a common platform to identify strategies for building and improving the ecosystem. It aims to foster collaboration, exchange of ideas, and best practices among the training institutes, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the skills and competencies of civil servants across the country.
With a strong emphasis on capacity building, the National Training Conclave aligns with the government’s vision of creating a well-trained and efficient civil service that can effectively address the evolving challenges of governance. The event serves as a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to strengthen the training infrastructure and enhance the capabilities of civil servants in serving the nation.
The conclave showcases the government’s commitment to continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the civil services. By providing a platform for dialogue and collaboration, it seeks to foster an environment of innovation and excellence in the training and development of civil servants.
As the inaugural National Training Conclave concludes, the discussions, insights, and strategies generated during the event will pave the way for the implementation of comprehensive training programs that will equip civil servants with the necessary skills to meet the diverse needs and aspirations of a rapidly evolving India.
