Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani, aged 96, has been admitted to a leading private hospital in Delhi. Sources confirm that his medical condition is stable.
Advani was admitted to Apollo Hospital today, according to a hospital source who spoke to PTI. This marks his second hospitalization in recent weeks. In the first week of July, Advani was also admitted to Apollo Hospital, where he was kept under observation for a couple of days before being discharged.
The current admission follows a recent stay at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where Advani was discharged after a brief overnight stay.
During his previous hospitalization at Apollo, Advani was under the care of Dr. Vinit Suri, a senior consultant in the neurology department. His condition is reported to be stable, and there is no immediate cause for concern, according to sources.
Advani, a key figure in Indian politics and a founding member of the BJP, has faced several health challenges in recent years. His hospitalization has drawn attention from party members and the public alike, who remain hopeful for his swift recovery.
