A video capturing influencer Rajat Dalal driving recklessly on a busy road in Haryana has gone viral, prompting widespread outrage and an official response from local authorities. The footage, shared by activist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj on X, shows Dalal speeding at approximately 140 km/h, with his co-passengers urging him to slow down. Despite their warnings, Dalal continued to drive recklessly, ultimately colliding with a motorcycle.
In the video, Dalal can be heard dismissing the incident nonchalantly, stating, “Wo gir gaya, koi baat nahi. Roz ka yahi kaam hai ma’am” (There’s no big deal if he fell down. This is a daily thing, ma’am). The footage, recorded by a passenger in the back seat, has garnered over 670,000 views since being posted.
The Faridabad Police have taken note of the incident, stating that they have initiated an investigation and will take strict action against the driver. “The administration has taken cognizance of this incident on its own and started action. The investigation is ongoing,” a police spokesperson confirmed.
Social media users have reacted strongly, calling for immediate arrest and expressing concern over Dalal’s reckless behavior. Comments on the video highlight the perceived threat Dalal poses to public safety, with one user noting, “This guy should be booked ASAP. He’s a threat to society. Hope someone with authority listens.”
