“Govinda Ends Campaign Early and Heads Back to Mumbai Due to Health Issues, a Month After Bullet Injury”

Latest news"Govinda Ends Campaign Early and Heads Back to Mumbai Due to Health Issues, a Month After Bullet Injury"

Actor-turned-politician Govinda, who has been actively campaigning for the Mahayuti alliance ahead of the November 20 polls, had to cut his campaign short in Jalgaon on Saturday due to ill health. The actor, who was in the region to support candidates from the BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP, returned to Mumbai after feeling unwell during his campaign trail.

Govinda was visiting multiple constituencies in Jalgaon, including Muktainagar, Bodwad, Pachora, and Chopda, where he had planned to hold rallies and roadshows in support of the ruling alliance. During his roadshow in Pachora, Govinda had to stop midway due to his condition. Despite feeling unwell, he made a brief appearance, urging the public to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi and vote for the ruling alliance.

This health setback comes just a month after a significant incident in which Govinda was injured in a bullet accident at his Mumbai residence. In early October, the actor was hospitalized after his licensed revolver allegedly misfired, resulting in a bullet wound to his knee. The incident occurred while Govinda was preparing for a trip to Kolkata. As reported by the Mumbai Police, the actor was putting his revolver back into the cupboard when the weapon discharged accidentally. Govinda was rushed to the hospital and received medical attention for his leg injury. He was discharged after three days in the hospital and spoke to the media about the frightening incident.

“I was about to leave for a show in Kolkata. It was around 5 in the morning. The gun fell and went off. I was shocked and when I looked down, I saw a fountain of blood,” Govinda shared in his statement, recalling the terrifying moment. “I made a video and spoke to the doctor, then got admitted.”

Govinda, who is known for his iconic performances in films like Love 86, Swarg, Dulhe Raja, and Partner, made the transition into politics as a former Congress Lok Sabha MP. Recently, he joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena to support their political agenda.

As Govinda recovers from both his health issues and the aftermath of his recent accident, his political journey continues to unfold, with fans and followers closely watching his every move.
