The body of Territorial Army soldier Hilal Ahmad Bhat, who was allegedly kidnapped by terrorists during a search operation in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, has been recovered. Bhat was one of two soldiers taken during the operation in the Kazwan forest area late last night.

Earlier today, the Chinar Corps confirmed the soldier’s disappearance and explained that a joint counter-terrorist operation was initiated based on intelligence inputs. The operation, conducted in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, began in the Kazwan forest on October 8, continuing overnight as concerns grew regarding the missing soldier.
