The suspect, identified as Pawan Gowda, also known as Kadubu, is a rowdy sheeter registered at the Rajagopal Nagar police station. In a bid to settle old scores, Gowda invited the victim to Bengaluru’s Kamakshipalya area under the pretense of resolving their dispute.

Once there, Gowda attacked the victim, forcing him to remove all his clothes.
