Ambar Desai is an Indian artist born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on the 9th of July 1991.In Hindustani semi-classical music, he has been trained by Shri Kuldeep Singh ji and Shri Harpreet Singh ji.
He is an acclaimed vocalist, performer, composer, and has many accolades to his name. In addition to appearing on famous music shows like “Coke Studio” with the famous Mr. Kailash Kher ji & Salim Suleiman, he is the winner of “Jo Jeeta wohi Superstar – Dahisar.”It is well known that he is one of the faces of Gujrati Dandiya Rass named “Rass Rang, Thane” and has done over 2000 live shows with bands like Naitik Nagda, Bhoomi Trivedi, Falguni Pathak, and Meenal Jain.
In addition to working with Nasseruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Anjan Srivastava, Rakesh Bedi, and Ramesh Talwar as a theatre artist, he is affiliated with IPTA, Mumbai. A song titled “Mangal Murti” has also been composed by him for Vazira Ganesh Mandir and Lalbagh Ganesh Mandal. Among his musical performances are garba nights, Bollywood parties, and Sufi events under the name “AD”.
Anil Ramprasad Desai, his father, is a well-known vocalist from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.He is raised by his mother, Daksha Anil Desai, a housewife He has a brother who is a well-known guitarist named Daksh Anil Desai & Ambar wife, Rucha Ambar Desai is a pharmacist by profession and works in the corporate world.
After completing his schooling at St Lawrence High School, Mumbai, Ambar attended Ritumbara College in Andheri, where he graduated. His athletic, musical, and other performances during his school and college years have been exceptional.Additionally, he has won medals at state level in the 100 m, 200 m, and 500 m races.
