Hoax Bomb Threats Target All CRPF Schools Following Delhi Explosion

In the wake of an explosion at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) school in Rohini, Delhi, authorities reported that all CRPF schools across the country received hoax bomb threats via email. The email, sent on Monday night, claimed that explosions would occur at all CRPF schools by 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Immediately following the threat, officials launched an investigation, which revealed that the warning was unfounded. Delhi is home to two CRPF schools located in Rohini and Dwarka. The explosion on Sunday morning at the Rohini school damaged the building’s wall and several nearby shops and vehicles, though thankfully, there were no reported injuries.

The incident is currently under investigation by multiple agencies, including the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the CRPF, and the National Security Guard (NSG). Additionally, the Delhi police have registered a case related to the explosion.

This bomb threat comes amidst a spate of similar threats that have targeted over 100 flights since October 14. On Monday night alone, 30 flights received bomb threats, followed by another 10 on Tuesday. In response to the rising number of threats, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu emphasized that passenger safety is the government’s top priority. He also noted that regulations are being revised to blacklist individuals who make such threats from future flights.

As investigations continue, authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
