In a heartbreaking incident in Hyderabad, a 30-year-old woman jumped from the 18th floor of her apartment building, taking her three-year-old daughter with her. The tragedy occurred in the early hours of Monday, around 12:30 AM, within a gated community in Narsingi, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
Witnesses, including security guards and nearby residents, were alerted by a loud thud and rushed outside to find the woman and her daughter lying in a pool of blood. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Narsingi police inspector G. Hari Krishna Reddy, the victims hailed from Bhimavaram in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh and had been residing in the apartment for the past two years. Initial investigations suggest that the woman may have died by suicide due to health issues, but authorities are treating the case as a suspicious death.
“We have registered a case and are exploring all angles, including any possible disputes with her husband,” Reddy stated. At the time of the incident, the woman’s husband, a tech professional working in Hitech City, was not at home.
