A video capturing an unexpected animal presence at Rashtrapati Bhavan during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oath ceremony has taken social media by storm. The footage, showing what appears to be a cat-like creature strolling in the background as BJP MP Durga Das Uikey greeted President Droupadi Murmu, has sparked wild speculations online.
While the ceremony itself boasted an attendance of 8,000 guests, including foreign dignitaries, industrialists, and celebrities, it’s the uninvited guest in the video that has garnered attention. Users on social media platforms have debated whether the animal was a leopard, an ordinary cat, or even a dog, leading to a flurry of humorous and curious comments.
“Lmao…is it edited or what? How did no one notice this? Looks like a big cat,” remarked one user, while another speculated, “Seems like a damn leopard due to tail and gait. People were really lucky it passed by peacefully.”
Amidst the viral video frenzy, some users suggested a more mundane explanation, with one commenting, “You can notice it here as well in the first 5 seconds, probably a domesticated cat.”
President Murmu, meanwhile, presided over the oath ceremony for a 72-member Council of Ministers, including key figures like Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar, who continue as Cabinet ministers. The new Council also includes 11 ministers from the NDA alliance partners.
PM Modi, expressing his dedication to serve the nation’s 140 crore citizens, took charge on Monday morning and prioritized the welfare of farmers by signing his first file for their benefit. This unusual animal sighting at the presidential palace added a touch of intrigue to an otherwise formal and significant event.
