Latest news"Massive Explosion Shatters Wall of Delhi School; Fortunately, No Injuries Reported"

A significant explosion occurred at a school in Delhi’s Rohini area this morning, with CCTV footage capturing the moment the blast tore through the building’s wall. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, but the incident has raised alarms amid a spate of bomb threats targeting airlines across the country.

The explosion, suspected to involve a crude bomb, was reported at 7:50 AM, prompting immediate action from law enforcement. A bomb squad and police forensic teams were dispatched to the scene in Sector 14, where they collected samples and began investigating the source of the blast. Nearby shops and a parked car also sustained damage from the explosion.

Officials from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the National Security Guard (NSG) arrived shortly after the incident to assist in the investigation. The police are actively analyzing mobile network data to identify individuals who were present in the vicinity at the time of the explosion.

Forensic experts discovered a suspicious “white powder” at the site, which has been sent to a laboratory for testing. Additionally, soil samples were collected from the area surrounding the school to determine the nature of the materials involved. “Whether it is some kind of explosive or anything else can only be ascertained after we thoroughly examine it. We suspect a crude bomb,” a senior police officer informed news agency PTI.

In an effort to ensure public safety, NSG commandos deployed robots to conduct a thorough scan of the area for any additional explosive materials. The entire vicinity has been cordoned off by the NIA, NSG, and Delhi Police, who are on heightened alert during the festival season. A case has been registered under the Explosives Act as the investigation continues.
