“Karnataka Transport Minister Clarifies: Carpooling Not Banned in Bengaluru”

Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy has refuted claims of a carpooling ban in Bengaluru. He clarified that while non-commercial private vehicles with white number plates cannot be used for carpooling, app-based carpooling services are still operational. The state government plans to meet with carpooling aggregators to discuss the issue.
