In a disturbing road rage incident in Bengaluru, a family was violently attacked by a group of miscreants in Kasavanahalli on Wednesday. The assailants hurled stones at their car when the driver did not comply with their demands, resulting in injuries to a child inside the vehicle. The child was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The victim, identified as Anoop, shared his harrowing experience on social media, posting a video of the attack. In his X (formerly Twitter) post, he stated, “Rowdies attacked my car near Amrutha College, Kasavanahalli. They threw a stone at my car, and my child is hospitalized.”

The video, which has since gone viral, shows the family’s car being stopped by the attackers, who demanded that Anoop exit the vehicle. When he refused, the assailants began throwing stones, shattering the car windows and injuring the child. A woman in the car can be heard screaming in fear as she quickly exits the vehicle.

The motive behind the altercation remains unclear, but the incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many users calling for immediate action against the perpetrators. One user commented, “Ohh my God! I stay close to this area. I haven’t seen any police patrolling during the night. That’s needed to keep such elements in check.” Another remarked on the increasing frequency of such violent incidents, stating, “Is it just me? In response to the public outcry, Bengaluru police have assured that they are taking the matter seriously and will take action against the culprits. The Bellandur police have acknowledged the incident and are investigating the attack.
