According to Managing Director Aloke Singh, “The new route builds on our recent expansion into short-haul international leisure destinations such as Bangkok and Phuket.” The airline aims to strengthen connectivity between South India and the Nepalese capital, enhancing travel options for tourists and business travelers alike.

Flight Schedule and Fare Details

The flight from Bengaluru will depart at 5:05 am daily, while the return flight from Kathmandu will take off at 9:05 am. Bookings are currently open on airindiaexpress.com and other major travel booking platforms.

The airline is offering special inaugural fares starting at ₹8,000 for Xpress Lite and ₹8,500 for Xpress Value, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers.

Expanded Connectivity

The new route also unlocks convenient one-stop connectivity to Kathmandu via Bengaluru from 20 Indian cities, including major hubs like Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Jaipur, and Pune. Additionally, international travelers from Abu Dhabi and Dammam will also benefit from seamless one-stop connections to Kathmandu through Bengaluru.
