Mumbai-born Aarti Mehra is not your typical scientist or business professional. Holding an MSc in Chemistry and an MBA in HR, Aarti’s career took an extraordinary turn, leading her to become a certified animal communicator, a Ho’oponopono healing practitioner, and now a budding Reiki healer. Her journey is a testament to her unwavering passion for animals and her commitment to bridging the gap between humans and the animal kingdom.
A Voice for the Voiceless
Aarti’s goal is simple yet profound: to create a special bond by being a voice for the voiceless species. “There is so much that nature and animals wish to communicate to human beings,” she explains. “I believe that co-existence is the only key to surviving in this concrete world today. Animal and nature communication is one of the sources that can make it happen.”
The Catalyst: A Personal Experience
Aarti’s journey into animal communication began with a personal crisis. Her beloved pet was suffering from severe skin issues that resisted all forms of conventional and alternative treatments. In her quest for a solution, she stumbled upon animal communication. Skeptical at first, Aarti decided to learn the skill herself. The results were astounding. Through understanding and communicating with her pet, she witnessed a remarkable improvement in his health. This eye-opening experience not only healed her pet but also solidified her belief in the power of animal communication. Finding lost pets further reinforced the critical nature of this skill.
Achievements and Accolades
In 2022, Aarti was crowned Mrs. Maharashtra Mrs. Confident, a title that celebrates her poise, confidence, and compassionate nature. Her accolades don’t stop there. As a certified Ho’oponopono healing practitioner, she practices an ancient Hawaiian method of reconciliation and forgiveness, complementing her work as an animal communicator. Now, she is on the path to becoming a Reiki healer, adding another dimension to her holistic healing practices.
A Lifelong Love for Animals
Aarti’s love for animals was not nurtured in her childhood home. “Belonging to a family who completely hated any kind of pets, it was definitely difficult to keep the love for animals alive in me,” she recalls. Despite her desire to become a veterinarian being discouraged by her family, the passion never waned. Marriage provided the turning point. “The house that I got married into had a pet. Maybe you could say I got married because the family had a dog,” she laughs. This pet reignited her love for animals and set her on her current path.
Aarti’s home today is a testament to her boundless love for animals. Over the years, she has cared for a variety of pets, including chicks, white rats, turtles, parrots, love birds, and fishes. Her current companion, Roxie the dog, has played a significant role in her journey as an animal communicator.
Championing Co-Existence
Aarti’s work is not about proving a point; it’s about making a difference. “There is nothing I want to prove,” she says. “The only goal I have is if I can make a little positive change in the bond shared between the pet and the pet parent, I would be thankful to the universe for blessing me with this skill.”
Her story is a powerful reminder of the impact one person can have when they follow their passion and embrace their unique gifts. Through her work, Aarti Mehra is not just enhancing the lives of pets and their owners; she is fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the interconnectedness of all life.
As she continues her journey, balancing her roles as a scientist, healer, and animal communicator, Aarti Mehra exemplifies the power of empathy and the importance of giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves. Her dedication to co-existence and her relentless pursuit of a deeper bond between humans and animals make her a true trailblazer in the realm of animal communication.
