Adhisha’s academic foundation bridges advanced science, strategic management, and industrial safety. After completing her schooling from St. john’s Diocesan Girls’ H.S. School, she earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (2018–2022), complemented by an Honours Degree in Pharmacy through competitive evaluation under IIT Kharagpur and IISc Bangalore (2022). To expand her operational perspective, she moved to the United kingdom, for pursuing her masters in International Business and Management at Leeds Beckett University (2022–2024).
Her multi-disciplinary experience subsequently culminated in the founding of HYASIND Industries Pvt. Ltd., pioneering a waste-to-wealth paradigm by transforming an invasive ecological challenge into premium sustainable handicrafts, fueling the next generation of sustainable manufacturing.
The venture directly addresses the severe ecological disruption caused by water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), an aggressive invasive aquatic weed, also known as the “Terror of Bengal”. The unchecked proliferation of water hyacinth chokes aquatic ecosystems, leading to massive biodiversity loss, disrupts inland navigation, severely impacts local livelihoods dependent on open water bodies along with several other implications.
